You will certainly get a lot of information and there are also tons of guides to teach you how to select your niche market. You may also look at the advertisements on different websites, they will give you some insight on the niche you should choose.

You can also try to find your niche market from magazines or newsletters. There are also tons of advertisements in these printed materials and you should study them carefully. In fact there should be no difference between online and offline in this issue. You should visit the library to find different magazines to read. You can also read the back issues of them. You will need to check if an advertisement will appear on different issues of the same magazine. You will also need to see if it also appears in different magazines. After doing these researches, you will probably able to find your niche market.

After you have selected your niche, you should start your marketing plan. Of course you will need to create an affiliate website. Then you will find different ways to promote it. Whether you are going to use Pay Per Click system or Search Engine Optimization is totally up to you. The key is to work and find a way to drive quality traffic to your websites.

In the field of affiliate marketing, a sad fact is that only 10% of the marketers are working hard to drive traffic to their sites. And the other 90% do not really work at all. You cannot just create a website and leave it behind. You have to work hard to promote and drive quality traffic to it otherwise you will not be able to make money out of it.

You will not be able to succeed if you do not keep learning while you are working. You will need to work hard and learn hard. Besides, you will also need to keep updated with the products and affiliate programs. For example you will need to keep yourself updated with the changes in shipping rules. There is no magic in this business, but you can be sure that you can be successful if you work hard at it.
