INCLUDE_DATA
The placement and density of your keyword is something you should highly consider when optimizing your articles for the search engines. Search engines send out bots that scan your article in such a way that makes it crucial to position your keywords in spots where they will be noticed and acknowledged as a keyword, so that when a person searches for that keyword, your article will show up in the results.
Definition of ‘keyword’
A keyword is a significant word that you post in your article multiple times. When a spider crawls your article, it recognizes that your article contains your specific word a number of times, which then assumes that your article will be useful to people searching for that keyword.
Optimizing your article too much
Keep in mind that there is a way to over optimize your article. It’s called ‘keyword stuffing’. If you stuff your keywords throughout the article, the spiders will recognize that you are trying to trick them into scanning all your keywords so that you can rank high in the search results for that search term. As a result of doing this, you won’t be found high in the search engines and your article may get removed from the search engines and even banned. I suggest not practicing this method.
Keyword Density
Keyword density means the amount of times that your keyword shows up in your article. Generally, people use a percentage to tell how often they will place their keyword in their article. For instance, if you want to achieve a 5% keyword density in a 500 word article, then your article must contain the keyword exactly 25 times. I prefer to not go over 5% nor under 3%. However, you’ll probably find that many people on the internet prefer different percentages and have a logic behind it, but in the end it’s what works best for you.
The Right Density
Regardless of what amount of density you choose, it’s important to insert keywords in the beginning and ending of the article to produce an hour glass effect. Remember, your article will be a money maker if it has the right amount of keyword density because it will show up high in the search engine results making it highly visible.
If you utilize the methods that I have mentioned above, then you should see your articles gaining top search engine placements. Finally, remember to submit your articles to multiple directories so that you can dominate search engine rankings.
